Naysayers beware Revenge of George Lucas

All critics beware, George Lucas has done the unthinkable. He has produced the Star Wars movie us fans have been waiting for. I refuse to believe anyone could seriously nitpick this one. However, because I know that some people do not have a life, you probably will. Let me say I was deeply pleased with ROTS. Darth Vader has risen and so has the Star Wars stories.

For a second there I wasn't sure what you were talking about.

Rising from abysmally atrocious to mediocre? I wouldn't cheer about that.

Sorry, but this one blew. I saw it twice in the theaters and I'm never seeing it again. I won't bother to go on about why it sucked so bad, I'll just let you read all the other threads.
Edit: You sound like Jon Gunter.

The reason I went to see it twice was to make sure that I had all the facts right about what happened. I didn't want to make a mistake about what I thought was said and what really happened.
Also; the first time I saw it, I was looking at it as I've never seen it before. I got an overall impression (which was some bad, some good), then went back a second time to cement how the movie made me feel. As it turns out, that movie made me feel very bored. I was playing with my shoe in the theatre by the end of the 2nd time. That's how bad this movie is.

I can respect that in every sense of the word. I saw Episode II at a very late showing the day after it came out and was one of the first people at my school to see it. I was tired from the night before and could have sworn that a young Lando Calrissian made an appearance in it. My friends thought I was delusional...which I was.
Turns out it was young Owen and Beru I was thinking about.

I notice that Jade Wolf is replying to every other topic in the forum except this one. He must've realized the verbal pwnage I put on him.

Haha. yah.....he's propable just a young kid though (12-14 years old) I'm sure most of the PT supporters are nieve kids. not that theres anything wrong with that... we should just be nicer and more understanding when we completely obliterate their arguments.......I have to agree ROTS is only good in the sence that it does not completely horribly suck. No one should lull themselves into beliving that something is great when it is simply mediocre.

I personally thought that ROTS was crappy in every sense. It's definitely better than the other two for certian reasons (Anikin doesn't whine so much, ending duel), but it's still crap. I think that after a while all the bashers will also realize this. Ultimately it was just as convoluted as the other two.

Nah, I just realize that we do live in a country that we can express our opinions. Insulting you for yours is not cool.
