Yeah, there's a lot of great material out there to work with. Hmm... an avatar for you...

Now I realise that your member name is actually the name of a ship from the extended universe. A ship avatar would never do, however. But what's in a name anyway? My advice - use one of the Lord of the Rings characters. They all look cool - and it's easy for me to find pictures of them online. Perhaps Legolas would be a good avatar for you.

JAYMG - you get more and more comprehensive with every Outing! Kudos to you!

Things were mighty quiet over the last few days in this forum, but now we are back in shape, alive and wriggling! biggrin.gif

And Vwing, yes, LOTR avatars are cooles ever! And I disagree with JYAMG - why not pick a nice orc for yourself (but not that puffed up one). If I weren't Eowyn, I would go for a monster myself.

But don't choose Lurtz... Lurtz and this average movie goer can't be friends. wink.gif

And why not Lurtz, yes, that's a good idea! And what an opportunity for plot twist, think about it Movie Goer! wink.gif

I don't know, I kinda like the V-wing idea. It could be similar to "the talking car concept," Kind of like Artoo. Or Speed Buggy, wasn't there this hero car in the '70s? It would have more soul what lucas sluffs off. (btw, I loved the astromech gag, JYAMG)

Maybe V-wing could be a transformer! That way it could be anything. You don't have to make up your mind!

Yeah, that's what I thought. How about it V-Wing, remember KITT in Knight Rider. You could use that charming german hunk David Hasslehoff as pilot! biggrin.gif

although if Vwing did pick lurtz, it would cut my work in half... on the LOTR chapters...

great work by the way...
and you've set me up for a mojor part in the final instalment....
(which you better be working on...)

I liked the sushi remark...

that's one of my favorite scenes...
cause when you think about it... Han and Vaders paths were never really likley to cross.... before he got involved with the others...
it's like a dutch 1930s bratwerst smuggler meeting hitler or something...
theres alot to think about there...
and i love the fact that han just pulls a Jack Burton shoots him...

It's one of the greatest 'akward moments' of cinematic history...
friend btrayed you...
well known bounty hunter steps out, after the big kahuna of the empire is waiting for YOU...
what a moment.

i always wondered as a kid about that "won't you jopin us" remark, if they actually sat down for a bit...

may as well.

It looks like they did. I can't see why they'd go to all the trouble of setting the table if they didn't...

But yes, it is a very cool scene. And it is these kinds of scenes that make The Empire Strikes Back so much better than Return of the Jedi (and infinitely better than the prequels, but that just goes without saying).

But Barend, where have you been? I made Return of the Jedi earlier and you deliberately replaced the Emperor with yourself. Now if I recall correctly, he was on the Death Star when it blew up....

However, I could make always make something else entirely, set in the Star Wars universe with everyone included... but I might take a well-earned break for a little while. cool.gif

I just had a thought about Vwing's avatar.... you guys are right. Lurtz could work very well...

maybe Vwing and I could have an argument about Return of the Jedi. Vwing could get out his bow and Chefelf could jump in to "lock the thread", so to speak. smile.gif

That could be a lot of fun actually. But ultimately, this is Vwing's decision.

JYAMG, do you know how to use FLASH technology? Does anyone? Why not make a SW short feature? These comics, chef's reasons, and many other peoples chatting history have all showed me one thing: IT's that if anybody on the net could pull of a flash short feature spoof on SW, then it's the people of NIGHT LIFE FORUMS.

I think it would be hilarious. It's very time consuming though...

I personally don't know how to use FLASH technology - but I'd bet at least a few people on this forum would. Perhaps Chefelf himself for starters.... but I suspect that Barend is quite computer savvy, judging by his Photoshop skills.

Flash is great and I know nothing about it. I'll have more free time in a few weeks and I'm anxious to start up my cinemagic rendering. You guys have got me insipid.

Yeah, it was cool for all the gang (inc/Solo and Vader) to get together. Kind of like when the Beatles went to meet with Elvis. And I'm sure Redeemed Skywalker has fond memories of freezing his future son-in-law.

and thanks to the SE, we have on film "Elvis leaving the building" that was Cloud City.

a flash short movie would rule.
JYAMG would go bezerk with those kinds of options at his disposal.
