Thirty Two Short Films about Glenn Gould. Now THAT'S a film.
Also, a repeat viewing of Ghost World. it's great on it's own, but it's fun getting all the inside jokes (ie. Cheap Suit Serenaders).

Don't know if people are still making updates to this forum, but anyhow...
Anyone seen "Donnie Darko?" I recommend it if you're into teen angsty films that involve time travel, bad motivational speakers, and a weird dude in a bunny suit. I think the goth kids would especially dig it. It also features the brother/sister team of Jake and Maggie Gyllenhall and has a killer soundtrack with Echo and the Bunnymen, Duran Duran, and a really freaky cover of Tears for Fears "Mad World."

One thing that sort of annoyed me about Donny Darko was that the guy held up the Stephen Hawking book, A Brief History of Time, and said that Stephen Hawking proved that we could use wormholes to travel back in time. However, I'm pretty sure Stephen Hawking says something near the exact opposite; he says that creating a wormhole would actually be Impossible!

I borrowed the vhs to Magnolia over the weekend. It's kind of dark in places but strangely affirming. Aimee Man still rocks.
I've been meaning to get the dvd for The Right Stuff. Always been a big fan of that film. They did the forrest gump live interaction sequences ten years prior. When the B-29 sweeps the tarmac I still get chills.
