Shellshock - Brainiac.
Best album that came out last year, and I say this being an Arch Enemy fan. Those guys literally made the local music scene. And now they're signed and everything, its sort of collapsed.

Bloc Party - Helicopter
I really can't get over that guitar riff.

Coldplay and I had a difficult past, I loved some of their songs, but mostly couldn't bear to hear Mr. Martin's wailing for more than three songs in a row.
Viva la Vida or Death and all his Friends somehow keeps me fascinated though, nice stuff to follow you around while you're jogging through the cold north of Germany.

The Beatles' Let It Be... I'm obsessing over the fact that I need to do an awesome guitar solo on that song and can't manage to muster up more than a few good notes before it all goes to guitarn00b hell... I'm doing the song with my band, so I need to do my homework... Oh, and it's 4 AM down here... And I have school in some hours...

Hit The Lights - Black Tide
This would have been even more awesome if they covered Lars' drum intro.

Queen - Radio Gaga
Just for that...
Radio Ga Ga - Electric Six.
Pretty much the best cover of a Queen song ever.

The best Queen covers ever are collected on Dynamite With A Laser Beam: Queen As Heard Through The Meat Grinder Of Three One G, a collection of hardcore / noise covers released by the label Three One G in 2002. They also did a collection of Birthday Party covers called Release The Bats: The Birthday Party As Heard Through The Meat Grinder Of Three One G that is apparently quite good, but I've not been able to track it down as of yet.
Mind you, if hearing Queen re-interpreted by spazzy hardcore bands and abrasive noise artists isn't your cup of tea, you're likely going to disagree with the above statement.
