Lando was great. One of Lucas' final insertions of something different and worthwhile. Now what can you tell us about Lobot?
Was it ever explained that Lando was the First owner, or could he have been a Prior owner? I'm suspicious that the history of the MF goes back one thousand generations.

Now what can you tell us about Lobot?
Lobot's month is March, everyone knows THAT!
It was Billy Dee Williams, and not Billy Dee Williams as Lando who was spokesman for Colt 45 malt liquor. Although a signed can or bottle of Colt 45 by Billy Dee Williams would be a pretty cool Star Wars collectable......

When Star Wars figures hit the shelves, its tough to find a lot of them. Han, Luke, Leia, Darth Vader, Obi Wan, they all seem to just fly off the shelves! But you can find a Lando figure pretty easy. Sometimes, the whole Star Wars aisle in a toy store is filled from top to bottom with Lando figures! So don't despair Star Wars fans! Pick up a Lando, or develop an interest in 3 3/4 GI Joes!

According to this preliminary painting by Ralph Mcquarrie, Lando was supposed to have a special lady friend! It would have made the line he says to Leia in ESB "you truly belong here with us among the clouds" ackward to say the least if she were around, or maybe she was, overseeing the preparations for the feast where her man betrays his bestest buddy!

The Star Wars Database lists Lando's homeworld as "Unknown" whereas the conventional wisdom says he's from the same world as Han Solo, being a Correllian as well. Many point to the closing scene of ESB, where Chewie and Lando are set to start the search for Han, and he's wearing the same outfit Solo made famous in Star Wars. Many see this as some sort of Correllian uniform, others think Lando went through Han's stuff because all of his duds remained on Cloud City, still others believe that this proves that George Lucas was a tightwad as Empire was going over budget......
