Anyway, i think its time for a little reminder
1. The total budget for this film will probably total at 50 quid. We are spending what little we can, as we are skint.
2. Many of my actors are piss poor, so don't blame me, blame them in the e-mails you are going to send me.
3. Don't think that this is gonna be awesome, it will be mediocre at best.
Wewt, my budget for the scene we intend to do in a few months comes up about £10 more than yours! <3
Smashed up my integrity.
Smashed up what I believed in,
Smashed up what's left of me.
Smashed up my everything,
Smashed up all I thought was true,
'gonna smash myself to pieces,
I don't know what else to do.

First off, my point stands. I don't want to discourage you. What you are doing is a very good endeavor, even though if it does see the light of day it will probably be such a horrible butchering of the game I'd want to gouge my eyes out. It's just, I've seen tons of such enthusiastic projects, that never get off the ground, because, in the end, they are just enthusiastic projects.
These days, when someone says "I am going to make [Something related to a thing the said person is a fan of].", it usually means he/she won't do much.
Now if you actually did some things, like writing the entire scenario (even if it's just a draft), and maybe posting a few pictures with your ideas about people playing the characters and where to set the action, that would be a lot different. (Speaking of which, I couldn't download that script you uploaded. Mind re-uploading it somewhere else and giving a link? I want to read it).
I also think a silent film with subtitles would be a lot better. First off, it will remove at least one element people will laugh at (accents, "Tribly" and so on), and it will add a nice feel to it. You might even go for a black and white movie entirely. I can assure you this will reduce the costs, because you won't really have to think "Ok, does this ketchup look like blood or should I use that other brand?" and such. As for props - doesn't your dad own a machete? These usually can be found in most tool sheds.

I know that, the amount of times I've done something similar is unbelievable.
http://files.filefro...;/fileinfo.html there ya go, as little a butchery as i can manage.
I might do two versions. Classic, all the color and audio, and Diet. B/W, subtitled. Some might prefer one to the other.
No, my dad does not own a machete. If he did, i would be a lot more murderous than i am now.

As for making 2 versions, trust me, people would honestly prefer a silent movie over having to listen to 15 year olds trying to do voice acting (no offense). And the black and white suggestion is just so you will save up on the "budget" for the film You could use soy sauce for the blood, like they did in Night of the Living Dead.
I'd have to say your biggest problem for now should not be the actors, but finding a place that will have the feel of a mansion.

Nope, we are all out here in Scotland.
Well, since i don't want to disappoint too much, how about a poll?
I do know a place i could use...this sounds ridiculous...him mum probably wouldn't let me use it...oh god...

Interestingly, chocolate sauce was used in Psycho for the famous shower scene.

Also, I liked the script but I think the whole "Trilby commenting if things are cheap or expensive every few minutes" thing doesn't really appeal to me. And I really think you should just find a girl for Simone, not replace her with a male character.
I mean, even though it's a cheap adaption of an obscure 2D free horror adventure, it's a movie. Women are suckers about being in movies.
