So in this case, you can only try to do that fancy bread trick, and you certainly can't make Sime enter. It was nice of him to a good sport about it, though.))

"You find my motives suspect, do you my son? And dare to point out that you are armed while you speak to a man of God under a flag of truce? I care not for your arms, they can do me no harm except to send me to heaven, and upon breaking the truce I assure you the good men here would have the Lord's blessing in sending you in the opposite direction.
You expect the favor to be a just deed? You, who just threatened a holy man with violence and who have sailed here under a pirate flag, in a pirate ship, crewed by deviant sinners? You sir question my morality? You'll have no holy water and you can burn my church down if you wish, but you'll have none of my help!"
Or he WOULD have except you made a really nifty social check.
"But I suppose the Lord says we must turn the other cheek... Listen, it wont be murderin or anything of that sort, just a job that might benefit the holy mother church. Capturing evil doers, running aid supplies, saving those in peril, and so forth. It may be that I never have need of your services at all. Now do you take the offer or do you not?
Bond- Not only did you fail your dex checks, but youre doing that thing where you take over an NPC, so here's what happens.
You kick the jelly donut. The jelly squirts over your foot. The rats notice the smell and discover a meal of sweet and sour foot.... I just rolled for the rats and they critically eat you. You'll be hobbling about for a while now and need medical care at some point to stave off infection. And it hurts. A lot.
Sime- You're greeted by a delightful symphony of screams from the dungeon and your torturer tells you this is the mark of his success. He invites you to find out what this Barbados connection is before the victim dies of the cruelty that he's supposedly inflicted.
Orator - Did I miss a post of yours or are you just being quiety?

(((Which ship is bigger, faster, has better weaponry, that sort of thing? Also, approximately how many crew members are left from each crew? I'd like to know more specifics before I make any decisions.)))

We carry a harpoon
But there ain't no whales so we tell tall tales
And sing a whaling tune

Slade & Otal - You role pretty poorly so a storn comes up and blows you slightly off course. When day breaks and the storm is gone theres an open horizon dotted by islands. You're a ways South and West of St. Kitts but thankfully still in the caribbean. Also, theres a mast far off on the horizon to the southeast.
Spoon- Arr indeed my friend, arr indeed. The ship you just captured is larger and better armed, but yours is a bit faster and more maneuvrable owing to a more shallow draft. As for the crews your ships crew is entirely operational. The other ships crew is just slightly smaller than your own owing to fatalities, but its enough that they could handle the ship.

Slade- Your lookout sees, almost predictably, no one. The ship is another derelict.
Otal- It sure doesnt, unless the gulls are keeping it afloat with their wings. There are a good many of them on it and as your lookout looks closer he can see that they're eating from piles... No... not piles... Corpses. Same deal with the other ghost ships, plenty of damage to the hull but still afloat.
Slade- Your crew, now that you ahve at least some kind of protection from the rum jugs of holy water, are a bit braver and nod to you, ready to follow your commands.
