anyone think the subtitle/title is rather long? if not, say it five times fast, and then backwards.
oh well,..it still doesnt beat out the record for the longest name in a movie title.
"to wong foo, thanks for everything, julie newmar"

oh yeah its long
so long it really seems unnecessary
like ok skulls ... cool but did we really
need such a description because
"Indiana Jones and the kingdom of skulls"
should suffice well it works for me

well if they mean these crystal skulls than this could be interesting.
no doubt the true origins of the skulls will not be a guy who bought them from germany in the late 1800s and then sold them to a bunch of crack pots in south america, but instead will be the ancient mayan origins purported by the same crack pots. however, this could be good. except that there's no sallah and no brody...so.. why no sallah, did he turn it down?

What?!?!?! I thought that surely you were joking until I saw this:
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Did they learn nothing from the past? There is a simple equation for Indiana Jones movies:
IF movie = quest for ancient religious item THEN > IF movie = quest for silly made up thing with dumb sounding name
There's a reason that Temple of Doom is the worst Indiana Jones movie. Because the Temple of Doom is not an ancient religious relic (and because the girl was annoying).
Surely an Indiana Jones movie coming out in 2008 cannot stand the chance of being nearly as good as the past films (particularly with Lucas involved) but at least they could attempt to utilize the formula of the two good movies a little more closely.

"Not made up" does not equal "relic from the bible."
They might as well have made the Fate of Atlantis into a movie. Actually that's not a bad idea at all. Also not a biblical reference but somehow better.

Hear, hear.
They had a great game, and a series of comic books -- why not a movie too? It wouldn't be that much work.

Nah, should have made "Indiana Jones and Geriatric Hospital of Doom". Basically, Everyone is like "Indy, you're too old for adventuring" so they stick him in a retirement flat, where he escapes and runs off to India with all of these doctors catching after him, trying to kill him.

It gets worse. They're making a third Mummy movie. One was perfect. Two was too many. Three will kill small children.
Also, FUCK Shia LaBeaouf. He was barely cut out for the crappy Disney Channel sit-com he should never have gotten away from.
