It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

Sorry I was rude. I was just in a bad mood.
Meh, I think my comic delivers a higher entertainment-quota-per-unit-of-resources-invested than, say, the prequels--
I was looking at this beautifully-made, lovingly-illustrated "The Art and Design of Episode I" booklet that a friend had in the EpI DVD set. It boggles the mind how many thousands of human-hours (to say nothing of the billions of computer-hours) that went into making something that's so sub-par.
Especially when the same general impression can be gained by glancing at this for 3 seconds...but the "George Lucas Stinks Real Bad" shirt will never have a 30-page booklet containing over 50 original concept-art paintings and discussion between experts about the stink-line vs flies ratio -- I can't go on! The sheer weight of human-effort that was sunk into it boggles the mind! Oh, the humanity!

I liked the THX reference. Quite the thing to see, indeed.
heh - I was just rewatching ANH the other day & I think I was wrong--those 2 stormtroopers on the bridge that Ben distracts with that "bolt noise from off screen" power don't say THX1138, do they? They're like, "have you seen the new 582 Nughlghf" or something, & the THX1138 is elsewhere, right? (the reason that Luke's speeder doesn't fetch a good price at Mos Eisley, "ever since the THX1138 came out they're not in demand..")
or am I mixing up my random-letter/number references? Was I right about the THX1138 being the thing to see?
