But it still counts as an elated moment because I have seven little orange things swimming around with eyes half the sizes of their heads. AWWW!

I haven’t been running in canine circles for very long. The only thing I can equate it to is horses.
When you talk to somebody about horses, you commonly refer to the animal by its gender specific term - stud, mare, gelding, sire, dam, foal, colt, or filly. They don’t say “I have a baby horse. He’s a male.” They say, “I have a 2yr old colt.” Or “I have a sorrel gelding,” or “My filly’s sire was an Dutch Warmblood,” or something.
I don’t know, I guess its just good breeder etiquette.

Elated moment: Watched some people doing free running (if you don't know what it is, think the new Prince of Persia games, minus the sword-fighting, and then go search for it on a video-hosting site), and now class was not much of class, so I'm going to go get lunch. And there are TWO new SB_emails this week!

squeee!!!
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.

But, I can finally use my actual driver's license to legally purchase alcohol.
They botched my birthdate when I first got it, and I've never had it fixed.
I don't know if I'm actually going to do it, but I doest believe that the temptation will overcome me
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

I actually had one from about a year ago, but who else besides myself would look back over twenty pages of topics to find it. I didn't feel like making myself look like some self-promoting dick by going and resserecting it.
Elated Day:
First class was cancelled. This was very good because I don't have all of the reading done yet.
In Physics today, we had a test. On Monday I had skipped the class to get reading done for another class, so I didn't even know about the test. After taking it I was absolutely positive that I got between a 90 and a 100 on it.
In a game of chess I made the most God-awful opening moves, losing both my queen and a rook. I still won by luring away peices that were protecting her king. I would have liked to say that my opening was meant to give her a false sense of security, but then I'd be lying.
In History we got back a quiz that I thought that I only did okay on. Turns out I got full credit for it.
Found out just now that Sailor Abbey made me a birthday thread.
If I end up romantically involved with someone, today would definately qualify as one of the best days of my life.
