You know, Simone's death isnt the only question the games don't answer. Ill make a list of questions/contradictions that must be dissolved in the next game(s). There are also my viewpoints about them: Q = question, PA = possible ( but weird ) answer.
Q - Why Simone died and who killed her?
A - The Tall Man killed her so Trilby would have a reason to travel to Clanbrownin Island.
Q - How John DeFoe buried himself in the bathroom?
A - I dont have any for this one.
Q - Who died first, John DeFoe or Roderick defoe? ( In 5DAS, Roderick TRIED to kill John, but Matthew helped John, as seen in Matthew's diary; Then John killed everyone. In Trilby's notes, Roderick killed John. )
A - You got me.
Q - Where did Roderick tried to kill John? (In 5DAS, Matthew says in his diary that was "blood in the kitchen". In Trilby's notes, Roderick tried to kill (or killed) John in the basement. )
A - Actually, Roderick hit John very hard, but he didnt die and crawled to the kitchen, where Matthew found him, half-dead.
Q - Why so much name coincidences? Chahal, Taylor, Somerset, Omalley...
A - The Tall Man wants to "judge" the sons of his enemies.
Q - So, what about the the REAL Dr. Somerset, who doesn't appear in the games?
A - That was coincidence...
I could also mention Matthew's birthday, but someone else did this.
