If Dooku Supposedly Is A Sith Then Why Doesn't He Have the Sith Eyes?

Lucas knows to incorporate experienced actors to add weight to his films. Why no old-school Matriarch? Pernilla was good I suppose. But ep 4's Aunt Beru should have been Billy Burke for goodness sake.
I'm rambling. Yellow-eyes help you appear sith-faced.

How bout... because George Lucas is an Idiot...
... with a capital Idiot.

... with a capital Idiot.
Or how about because Dooku wasn't necessarily a Sith Lord? He had only learned what he could out of the dark arts to accomplish his master's bidding. He was duped in to believing he could attain an even more noble status by playing Separatist leader (As if he wasn't noble enough after becoming the Count of Serrenno). Face it, he's an old man. He's only a pawn in the overall scheme. He didn't want to be a Sith Lord. He merely wanted to broaden his horizons, per se. Dooku never actually became a Sith Lord because it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Which is precisely the reason Palps wanted Anakin as an apprentice. It's harder to turn a Jedi over to the dark side after they have lived most of their life under a religious blanket. Anakin was rebellious, so it proved to be like taking candy from a baby. Here's a better question: Why didn't Palpatine's Sith eyes occur earlier on (in the PT)?
Discuss.

And to answer your question, the reason why Papls 'Sith' eyes never occurred earlier in the PT is because.... George Lucas is an Idiot! With a capital Fucking!

no wait, i'll stay on target.
...maybe he wasn't a sith at all... just a bad jedi, or neutral... diabolically neutral.
i would be... if i had jedi powers i'd learn what i could from the jedi, then piss off to koriban learn what i could there, then start my own faction, where people could learn the arts of the force without the stupidity of the jedi order, and without out that lame aprentice killing his/her master crap that is just so damn counter-productive...
just becuase you get a chance to kill someone doesn't mean they've got nothing left to teach you...

Wow! Barend, I couldn't have said it better. Dooku was tired of the "corruption" in the Jedi Council, so he turned to Palps, learned some cool stuff, and turned around and told the Jedi to piss off. He was one of the Lost Twenty... one of twenty Jedi who had left the Order for some reason or another. He wanted to retire back to his estate on Serrenno, but he also wanted to learn some dark side stuff first. He wasn't really a Sith Lord at all.

Yeah, I’m sure Palps would allow such sacrilege as to have some old guy leaching off him and his forbears, even going so far as calling himself Darth. As a former member of a secretive religious order, I can tell you with some certainty, that shit is not taken lightly. I highly doubt Tyrannus was anything less than a Sith Lord. The reasoning behind this is clear: GL doesn’t know his plot holes from his ass hole. Get over it.

aniakn was the only one to get funny eyes... sure palpy seemed to have them after he zapped himself but i'll wager that was temporary...
Lucas was just ripping off KOTOR... for annie...
what lucas should have done, instead of introducing references to a character like Darth Plagus/Sypho Dias and having no real backstory for Darth Tyrannus/Count Dooku, would have been to make them the one.
I mean DP had the clones and DT had the droids... and Jengo Fett hung out with both... so its not like they were competeing forces... it was all just a ruse to allow the reblic to beleive that they gave the clones to Palpy to fight the droids...
however...
this plot, confusing to the 8 year olds these films were directed at, could have been salvaged by making Tyrannus Palpatines master...
then Palpy telling Anikan to kill him would have been so much more intense and trecherous than it was...
But no... George 'what the hell is edit' Lucas had to be silly about it.

If he is so powerful, and is powerful enough to hide the fact that he is a Sith Lord, then why would Obi-wan and Yoda send Luke against him and Vader? These are two guys who couldn't even figure out who Plaps was when standing right next to him. "Shroud of the darkside" or not, he and Vader have also gained an additional (roughly) 25 years to get better at using the darkside. Luke has had some training, unlike Obi-wan and Yoda, who've had a lifetime. Under those conditions it'd be like sending an ant against a steam roller. Sure the ant is really powerful, it can lift up to ten times it's weight. But, is that really going to make a difference when the steam roller kills the ant.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

i already made this point...
in another thread, and there were too few people backing me up. why do my points, that i have to defend, always show up months or even weeks later in an unrelated thread?
i just made really good point two posts up, and now no one's acknowledged it...
but i bet ten dollars that someone else types it again in a thread about yoda and the wookies!!!
WHAT AM I IN THE FUCKING TWILIGHTZONE???? can any of you actually hear me?

seriously though... how much better would it have been to use this great actor to play the emporers master... rather than some random character while mention is made of an ominous figure from the past...
