I'm a bit behind (about two weeks apparently) but regarding Laura's latest article has got me thinking.
I haven't watched daytime TV in a long time but it would appear that the commercials have not changed at all. One thing I don't understand is how BEING a massage therapist is relaxing. I can understand how GETTING a massage is relaxing but being a therapist doesn't seem much more relaxing than any other job. I guess it's not terrible deadline driven though, but your hands probably cramp up a lot more.
I'm surprised Laura didn't mention the one about the lawyer who is so great and the Spanish guy is about to cry when he says, "Gracias."

Following the change of government in my country into even a more right wing one I woved not only not to watch TV, but also not to listen to the radio or read internet news, so I am mercifully spared all commercials.
However, I can very well imagine the "large lump sum" one.
My question is, how people can be so stupid and fall into this one.
I admit, I am mean with my money. My heart bleeds when I have to part with my hard-earned pittance. I would be happy to have annuity, though - it would mean, that every month or year I can count on a seady, however small inflow of cash which will help to to get through.
Once you get "a large lump sum" you part with in in no time.
But that's the whole point, isn't it? To get you to part with your money much faster than you ever notice.

As a student (as so many of us suffer under) daytime TV has moved from being the province of sick days, to being the province of nearly every day. However, I can't remember anything on British daytime TV apart from auction shows and Diagnosis Murder. I love Diagnosis Murder.

Telewizja komercyjna wciąga!!!
i imagine that if 80% of your clientelle are cute young females who came in and removed their clothes so that you can touch them alot... you'd find it pretty relaxing.
either that or maybe having your hands soking in essential oils all day mellows you out too.
