My day started with the alarm going off. I looked at the clock, and thought "5:30. What the hell does that mean?". I got dressed, then drove across town to catch a ferry. I spent the day doing stocktake at the general store on an island half an hours ferry off the coast(incidentally, same island where the green knight photos were taken). It was a beautiful, sunny day and the water was completely clear, and I was stuck inside counting magazines I couldn't read and chocolates I couldn't eat. Got the ferry to the mainland at 4:30. Arrived home at about 6. My phone was missing. After looking in my car and trying to ring it, I rang the ferry company. Fortunatly, they were quick and were able to find it. So, off to Fremantle(port town near my city) again to pick it up. Driving home(again) and I notice the temperature gauge is going nuts, regardless of the fact that I had my radiator replaced last week(which I'm expecting to cost enough as it is). So I pulled over, pulled off the cap, doged all the coolant spraying everywhere and refilled the radiator. This was after I spent fifteen minutes trying to work out why the hell the bonnet was stuck and wouldn't open. Finally got home at about 7:15, this is more then 12 hours after I left in the morning. Just as I'm remarking to my parents that today was a day of closely avoided disasters(found my phone, notcied the car was overheating before steam started pouring out), they tell me my cousin had a fatal incident with a truck. And to top it all off, I got an important invite from a friend which I'm just too tired to follow up. I hate today.
