Oh, hell yes. I've really wanted to do a pen and paper RPG for a while now, but I don't know anyone who plays them in real life, and the one or two I've tried to take part in on here crashed and burned.
I'm feeling fantasy, and it has nothing to do with me playing the hell out of Warcraft III. :P

Obviously the Green Knight favours high fantasy, but I'll leave the decision up to others.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

I've seen the advertisement and I'm game. Any genre is fine with me.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Alright, we have 2 for Kung/Wire-fu (Icey and me... maybe I should get extra votes )
2 for fantasy (Sime, saying he's okay with anything, coco spliting his vote, and Floppy giving a full vote)
1 for Space (Coco and Otal splitting a vote apeice)
1/2 Western (Otal splitting a vote)
Right, if you want to take a look at the rules system I'll be using just Clicky (use either the download or the wiki, both work). Just replace the word yin with defence, yang with offence and chi as your health and you have a simple, cinimatic system that can be used for practically any genre.
I picked this system especially since it is practicaly tailor made for forums. What you type is what happens (unless one or more of the other players or I veto it). The dice's only job is to control the pacing of the adventure/scene, that is all. Don't you dare say "Blah, blah, description, blah, ok I rolled 2 offence and 1 defence, did I do it" What is type is what happens, I cannot re-itterate this enough. The power, the story, the whole world is up to you, I'm just here to give you guys a nudge in the right direction.

Oh god, it'll take some prep time though.
A campaign setting like that... I'm thinking just enough to get you guys to forget the idea and run something sane.
I guess it could be workable. I'd have to nick a few things from other settings, but sure I can keep it as an option. As an aside though Woo, go wire-fu.

I think we should devlop some bizarre amalagam of all of the genres.
This isn't a serious suggestion, just a thought:
