Reasons 33 and 36 are highlights of this movie to me. Nature of the Sith is something I really like, they remind me of my beloved Necroscope books series and ways of Wamphyri.
And don`t worry Username, your opinion is not less valuable that Chefelf`s!
Chefelf, could you explain why you don`t like the Plagueis story so much?
The Plagueis story is a desperate attempt to explain the sith existence and to tempt anakin, but fails for a lot of reasons. (o for the lucas one)
One: It's just a story Palpy told. In a movie, we need to SEE the important things to happen. (There are a lot of ways to do this even without the necesity of flashbacks).
Two: The most important think, The "create life" thing, is not detailled and confuse and is supposed to be the main reason for Anakin to start listening. In fact, we never see anybody creating life in the film but Padme!
Three: We never really see a bond betwen Palp and Anakin, so basically they are two strangers talking in the opera.
Four:Palp is kind of telling Anakin: Sith apprentices assasin their masters, don't you want to kill me? I'll teach you...
Five: We still don't know why the nessecity of Siths, You get a lot of power as a jedi. (meybe is about the celibate, then I understand)
Six: Darth Plagueis? C'mon...
Seven: So, now we know more about the past of the Sith than the Jedi's past?
Eight: Unnatural? what's natural in Coruscant? What's logical?
Nine: hadden's expressions?
The vast majotity of Lucas ideas are there and that's what can be defended, but we are talking about how bad they look on the film.
Sometimes I like a movie so much, I forgive a lot of flaws, but usually they are details. Here we start with bad ploting and directing and acting, so why to forgive anything?
