ROTS Review I've seen it early. (SWIU Version)

Surpisingly, I saw this movie this afternoon. I decided: What the hell, I will see it early. This review is going to be offensive to some.
Revenge of the Sith... will haunt me for the rest of my life. Wether for better or for worse, I will never forget this movie. Ever. I will remember almost every detail. The way the story was told... it all just sticks in your mind. Scenes of the fights... the dialogue... keep playing in my head.
Anakin was the way he was meant to be. There is no question about this. Hayden's acting was flawless. His character is believable, this time around.
Padme was the way she was meant to be. Though, Natalie's acting twists for a bizarre turn from AOTC. This turn of behavior... made the movie seem even more distant and cold. This was good... it added to the effect.
Ewan McGregor was nothing short of awesome. He portrayed Obi-Wan as he was meant to be. I loved him. He did a great job. PT Obi-Wan was flawless.
General Grievous was a minor character. No one ever said he was MAJOR. He was protrayed as a great villain... he was flawless.
Palpatine/Emporer, was a disturbing character. It freaked me out, while he was on the screen. It sent chills down my back when he was minipulating Anakin at the opera. And it gave me a rush of adrenaline, when his face began to become disfigured when shooting force lightning at Mace Windu.
My friends... Anakin's turn is done perfectly. I loved it... we ALL can relate to it. If someone says the turn was weak, you can be sure that I will probably be debating against such accusations.
I loved the lightsaber duels. I loved the fact that Count Dooku was quickly killed. This cuts off the last remaining, true link to AOTC. The death of Count Dooku, also meant the death of TPM and AOTC. The other two movies... are rendered useless, in the shadow of ROTS.
This movie, blew me away. I walked into the theatre, nervous. Though, my optimism payed off. Not only was this movie better than ESB or ROTJ, in my opinion, it ranks nothing short of ANH. Yes, my friends. I am changed from watching this movie. I have, for the most part, forgiven George Lucas.
I don't know why it effected me so much. But maybe it is the strong emotion and good storytelling... and the BEST, PERFECT ENDING IN FILM HISTORY!

""I totally agree with you, SWIU!""
Thanks!!!
""Best ending in film history? Have you seen any film made before 1990? Before 1970? 1950? You need to see more movies, kid.""
I have seen literally hundreds of movies, and out of all of them, ROTS has the best, most strong and moving ending.
Thanks!!!

SWIU, I guarantee what you're experiencing is the euphoric rush of seeing a new Star Wars movie for the first time.
When you watch it the second time, the flaws...my god the flaws just come ROARING at you. Because I sounded exactly like you after my initial viewing of ROTS, when I went to catch it the second time I dropped it a couple points. Plus I noticed I was cringing ALOT MORE on the second go-round, oh man when Palpatine was overracting frying Mace "nooooo...NOOOOOOWWW NOWWWWW YOUUUUU WILL DIEEEEEEE" oh my god I could feel the embarrassment from everyone in the theater.
dont get me wrong I really enjoyed it and I have no problem making it a stand alone in the entire series but this thing is not perfect, not by a long shot.

This could be the case, but I seriously doubt it. I was looking for major flaws when watching the movie, and to be honest, I really didn't find any to make me angry enough. I loved this movie. We will only know for sure, if you are right, after I havce watched ROTS for the second time around.

More moving movie endings. Let me see.
Alida Valli walking right past Joseph Cotten and off into the distance in The Third Man.
Jimmy Stewart looking down at Kim Novak's dead body at the end of Vertigo.
The tracking shot through the burning house onto the embroided pillow ("R") at the end of Rebecca (Hitchcock version.)
"Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." Sunset Boulevard.
The freeze-frame on Jean-Pierre Leaud's face at the end of The 400 Blows.
"Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown." Chinatown.
"I love you too, Keyes." Double Indemnity.
"Madness! Madness!" The Bridge on the River Kwai.
Oh, hell. Give me a few more minutes and I'll give you a dozen movie endings that I've never forgotten even if the last time I saw the movie was five or ten years ago. George Lucas doing better than Billy Wilder or David Lean or Alfred Hitchcock? Yeah, right.

How did you manage that? some kind of barometer perhaps?

No, it's a certian feel you get. Ever heard the phrase "You could cut the tension with a knife"? It's mostly small, subtle body signals that everyone is giving off. There's a lot people tell with thier expressions.

If you will it, it is no dream.
