There was this 5 year old boy who was worried everytime he ate an egg he was eating some unhatched chicken, so his grand-dad, secure in the knowledge that Tesco eggs just don't hatch, tried to ease the poor childs fears by putting a few eggs in an incubator.
Yeah that's right, tried.
To both the grand-dad and the 5 year old boys dismay, one of the eggs hatched.
And this is why I didn't eat Tesco eggs for a week, before realising I happily eat chicken anyway.

so, 1 in five tesco eggs will hatch into a chicken. then we feed the chicken until its nice n plump and sell it for sdouble the price of the eggs! now thats good business sense

Yup. Ooh, and scrambled eggs are good as well. And omelettes. And cakes (you need egg for cake).
