edit: and now is when I recall JarJar, Grievious and the PTs finer moments. It'll suck horribly I'm afraid...

Not a half-bad trailer, no Jar-Jar. I disagree about the duel, it looked pretty cool to me, Anakin was being evil and extremely powerful, yet calm, like Vader. And the lava in the background I think on a bigscreen will look amazing. The space battle looks cool, the wookie army looked cool from the half second I saw, though I agree there was something weird with it, IDK if they were CGI or what, but there is something about the wookies I can't put my finger on that's weird. Not gonna get my hopes up, but Lucas still knows how to make pretty good trailers. I'm sure in a theater it looks awesome, instead of on my crappy comp screen.
Oh and the music at the end is cut kind of weird they have the imperial march just cut off suddenly, that was my only real problem.
I agree McDiarmid will steal the show. Hopefully Yoda's lightsaber fight will look better this time, though it can't look much worse. Also, Yoda looked even faker in this trailer than in AOTC, but that'll probably be made better for the theatrical release.
But you're right, the scene introducing Vader was very cool. It seems like Lucas at least is making his introduction powerful, so maybe there is hope that the other scenes will be powerful. Not much, but it's there.

According to the guy from the Force.net who saw the rought cut of Episode III, he said that without a doubt McDiarmid stole the show.
I too can totally see this happening, since he seems to show his true colors.
From the brief glimpse of him, he seems to be throwing his lightsaber at Yoda...Nice touch!

Another nice touch was R2D2 and C3P0 on what appears to be the Tantive IV. At least he doesn't completely miss that there needs to be some connection with the OT. And the angles were also very similar as ANH.

A little too much CGI, but this looks like it could easily be the best of the series, if we ignore the obvious such as bad acting, bad dialogue and potty humour

I agree Garth, that shot of all the Wookies doesn't look so good, ditto that grey skinned alien shown right after that scene. Despite the crappiness of the previous two movies, I admit I felt like a kid again seeing this teaser. There looks like there could be some awesome scenes. It was a very well done teaser. But we've been fooled before

just to make certain: you all know that in QuickTime: you can freeze the action and click through the frames, right? (with the little arrows. stupid question)
