The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

to quote this story from astrobio.net:

"Although the icy moon bears a striking resemblance to the fictional 1977 'Death Star' from the Star Wars film by George Lucas, this low-density satellite probably had a more likely past not as a weapon or space station, but instead as a victim of one catastrophic day in its ancient history. That day Mimas came closer to dying rather than committing any planet-scale homicide."

I found that pretty funny.

You see i figure that Reagan built the thing sometime in 1980s as a deterrent to communists from the secret USSR colony in the Apha Centuari star system. They figured they would disguise it as a moon to prevent Democrats from bitching about the tax payer costs!!!

Yeah, that's right biggrin.gif . The governments also hiding Jedi Knights in Guantanomo Bay. And Bush is really Darth Sidious in disguise. Just watch. Hee, hee, hee!!{hysterical laughter}

I think the death star was modled on that moon to scare the commies that way! Regan sent them a copy of Star wars on video along with a telescope with MIMASes co-ordinates. and a letter ssying: "well, you fuck with us again and we'll kill everyone with our giant ronald ray gun!
- love ronnie"

Wow man. Its odd you'd say that because I've heard it before. It was used during the presentations at Woodstock just after Country Joe and the Fish performed the "I feel like I'm fixin' to die rag" Reagan was already a murderous pile of shit back then, having called his state national guard against peaceful protesters quite a few times.
