Willingly and knowingly introducing midichlorians and thereby destroying the soul of Star Wars.
Wow, I would have to say that I think this is a pretty significant indictment. The whole thing of the force controlling us and also obeying out commands made complete sense within the context of the OT. Adding some rational and cosmological explanation like midichlorians actually takes the mystery out of the Force.

Parting with Gary Kurtz
A lot happened between RotJ and Indiana Jones III. Somehow Rick McCallum entered the picture, and Gary Kurtz was nowhere to be found (in the SW universe). His statements about the direction of SW at the time he was working with GL were extremely intriguing.

Sitting in a director's chair
Yeah, this one. It's almost like GL simply lucked out with ANH. He gave up the reigns for the rest of the OT, and even though EP VI is a rehash of ep IV, the trilogy still ends with a bang. Not so with the PT, whose climactic end seems anticlimactic compared to every fan's personal image of the scene.

Destroying the legend of Yoda
I kind of want a little more explanation of this one, but I get you. I'm not sure whether you think he flailed around too much with the lightsaber or if he should have been left more aloof (and therefore wiser).

Ruining Boba Fett
The animation in the TV episode gave birth to him. But didn't the comics also signal the end of his demise by overexposing a character who had such a mystique despite the short number of appearances he got. On a similar note, the image of Daniel Logan as child Fett doesn't leave me with a compelling image of an older Boba.

Creating Jango Fett
Morrison was OK -- I guess. He's a bit like Jackson for me; an actor with bravado, but no lasting presence on film. Bad guy Jango, doesn't really evoke badness or evil to me. Nor does Mace Windu epitomize Jedi mastery. Jackson's bravado, was more akin to what I image Han would be like.

Including no real politik intrigue for the rise of the Empire
I really like this! Especially with a preface like Dean Alan Foster's Journal of the Whills in the SW novelization, the poetry of an empire being like a huge tree rotting from the inside. That's great stuff. Brilliant that McDirmid played Palpatine, but the fall of Valorum (all on account of Amidala) was but a petty, insignificant motion which should not have changed the universe.

Creating shields for the Gungans that would never be used again by any military force in the galaxy
Is this more of a pet peeve? I kind of like the idea of denying Trade forces bombardment capability (which of course has a rich tradition from ESB). But it's not like the gungans were fierce hand to hand warriors. They still used hand held projectile weapons. Do walkers also fit into this category?

1. Killing off great characters (Darth Maul, Qui-Gonn) while over-exposing shit characters (Jar Jar, Mace, PT Yoda)
2. After watching Darth maul kick the crap out of two Jedi and killing the master, having him oh-so-cheesily slain
3. Having shit Jedi running rampid thoughout the PT, three supposed Jedi get slaughtered within 2.2 seconds once exposing Palpatine... WTF?!?
I like the first. Maul could have made a cool comeback. Qui-Gon (played by Neeson) was a very mature character (except for his role in accepting the virgin birth of Anakin). (Did you see see Beevis and Butthead when they met their fathers in the desert? LOL)
I kind liked how Maul was slain, but I can see your point too. It should have been Qui-Gon who survived, and Kenobi who was killed. If this were a real world, there would be some irony in GL's telling of the story. As it stands, when you compare Kenobi between the two trilogies, there's a lot of cheese to be found. The smart-ass McGregor is a far stretch from the composure of Guiness. Did McGregor get the part only because of his physical resemblance to the veteran actor. If so. So sad.
The posse scene has brought derision from a lot of people. The swordsman in me likes the speed with which they were taken out. That's realistic to me. But for all the hype the Jedi (any Jedi) were made out to be, they fall without much of a thud in this scene. Their assassination in ROTS to the guns of the clones was very compelling to me, however. Part of the weakness of the scene is the blocking of the choreography. The spin was a little weird (i.e. cheesy), but McDirmid does not pull off a competent swordsman. I understand the he got very limited training, and it shows.
How about this one:
Replacing Peter Diamond with Nick Gillard.
or
Casting Christensen as Anakin
You all do know that I want to use your ideas in my short story. Right?
