vague similarities:
-multiple characters through time, most meeting a sticky end
-mind,body and soul thing (one god for each in eternal darkness, could a mind and soul god appear in a TN sequel maybe?)
-character being bound to one of these gods, and has to summon it into world
-turning into john defoe is kinda like a sanity effect
-.....finding pages of an ancient book i suppose between flashbacks....
not sure if this point has been brought up before, or if its valid, but love the game, and ED, so its cool in my book
(and no im not claiming 'rip-off' or anything like that before you say, i somewhat understand the concept of an homage)
anyway, aside from my rambles, great game, and good luck on the next one, Trilby game or not

The answer to your question would be:
What you do is this: at the start of the scene, type MOVE or any equivalent so that Trilby's injury gets worse. After that you don't have to do anything but wait. After 500 game loops (12.5 seconds) the first 'getting weaker' message appears. After another 500 game loops the second one (buzzsaw lungs) appears. After another 500 loops Trilby will give the whole 'will to live' spiel and only after that can you DIE. There, that's it.

Because (I'm guessing) the Days series is set in the same canon as GFW and YTOTW - in which case, the world is blown up in 2002.

...Naaah. You couldn't find two sets of worlds that are more different than these.

the extended ending is almost work the minimum donation in itself (along with the ability to listen to the harpsichord music outside the game
itching for the next one already, so many questions to be answered (such as where did 1213 get the snazzy coat and staff )

It's not. In 7 Days a Stranger, they live in a universe devoid of alien life. In GFW, there are clearly plenty of aliens around. This is witnessed by the 'first contact' line in 7DAS. Although I guess that could refer to first contact in that Galaxy.

Both games series, while you can easily play each without caring about the other, are canon. The earth is blown up by Yahtzee, not in 2002, but in 2040 (as mentionned in P12) during YTOTW. It's the event that leads to the creation of the Earth Federation, the same Earth Federation which is mentionned several times in both P12 and 7DaS.
