That's it, I'm going to bed. I'm sure I'll come back tomorrow to a load of posts laughing at the new guys acting as if they've been here for years. Ah well.
Hence my decision not to participate in public forums. Besides, it's rather foolish to argue about a subject such as this. Just my two cents before I completely forget about this forum for a good while.
I (unfortunately - for I tried to design my own a few times inspired by others' games but I never managed to find the time) don't make games. I do comics.. I stumbled across AGS in the early days thanks to Better Days of a Defender of the Universe and thereafter -once upon a time- Yatz's comic encouraged me to do my own web comic (which regrettably didn't last - I find that writing comics in english for an online audience is not as fulfilling as drawing comics in my own language for local readers) called Three on the Road (the daily hits, at the time, being bumped up -again- thanks to a little help by Yahtzee who provided a link to it). Since then I've been playing his games and, altho not actively participating, I've been wishing him the best of luck (and glad to see the things he accomplished since then). Which is much better than acting like a jerk in a public forum.
Web forums, in general, are idiotic. It somewhat troubles me to read a comment of this nature and what little information I have given here will suffice as an answer to you. Attacking (in a way) someone using the term 'noob' is presumptuous, childish and moronic. Normally I wouldn't pay any heed to your post but I thought your attitude in itself needed to be pointed out as I find (from a rather brief skim of these forums) most readers of this web space bear the same (lack) of manners. Do grow up.
A good day to you,
Fabio.
