This morning I played a game. It's the same game I play every morning. A game I've been playing since my pre teen years. I set my alarm for a half an hour before I have to wake up. Then I snooze three (3 [three] ) times. This allows me to wake up three times and the first two times are wonderful because I get to enjoy the fact that I can go back to sleep. The third time always sucks.
I can easily count to three. I know when it's been the third time but each and every morning when I roll over on the third sounding of my alarm I curse as the clock reveals what I already know. It reveals that it is now really time to get up.
This says something about my will to believe. I will always check on the third alarm. I will always cling to the shred of a hope that maybe, just maybe, I will get to sleep more.
I never learn.
I've been wanting a PDA badly lately. If there are any rich readers out there who'd like to send me an iPaq, and Axim, a Treo, or (preferably) a Sony Clie then email me for a shipping address.
This weekend I travel to New York City. I wish I had a PDA for the ride, but what is one to do? I will have to stick to the old fashioned sport of reading instead.

Hmmmmmmm. Let's see. I could:
- write articles
- check email
- browse the web
- play games
- play and listen to mp3s
- shuttle data to and from New York and all of the other many and splendid places that I visit on a nearly bi-weekly basis
- make me unbelievably happy because I have something electronic that comes with me everywhere I go
ONLY that!!

The first five things on your list can be accomplished on any one of your MANY computers, or at work! When are you NOT by a computer, I ask you? Also, what data are you transferring between RI and New York?
Hey, it's your money, but I think a PDA is useless unless you are my sister.

Dont listen to her Nate. My PDA is my LIFE. I would be soooo lost without it. I can plan what i will be going in 5 years. Can Jen do that, NO. Jen also has no goals, i dont even need to say anything more about that.

I want a PDA too, but more for keeping track of my busy schedule. An example:
5:30 am: alarm goes off
6:30 am: finally drag sorry arse out of bed
8:00 am: probably at school, not sure, still groggy
12:00 pm: LUNCH! OH GLORIOUS LUNCH!
12:05 pm: fall asleep in food

I understand that keeping track of events and such is the primary use of a PDA but that would most certainly be the last thing I would want one for.
